New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be on a day-long visit to New Delhi to meet President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders on Monday.
This will be Patel's first meeting with the country's top leadership, after assuming the Chief Minister's post Vijay Rupani stepped down.
He will also meet Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said in a statement issued on Sunday.
Besides paying a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, he will also meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President Jagat Prakash Nadda.
Mr Patel, a first-term MLA, was sworn in as Gujarat' 17th chief minister on September 13.
Assembly elections in Gujarat are scheduled to be held in December 2022.
