Javadekar terms Raj political crisis, fall of Cong govt in MP as Rahul Gandhi's 'achievements'

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the India China border standoff, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday took a dig at the former Congress president and said the present political situation in Rajasthan and fall of Congress government in Madhya Pradesh were his (Mr Gandhi's) 'achievements'.
The Minister said the Congress leader's "achievements" include 'Shaheen Bagh and riots', 'losing
Jyotiraditya and MP', and 'defending China'.
In a series of tweets, the Minister said, '@RahulGandhi note your achievements in the last 6 months -
February: Shaheen Bagh and Riots; March: Losing Jyotiraditya and MP
April: Instigating migrant labourers;
May: 6th anniversary of the historic defeat of the Congress;
June: Defending China;
July: Congress on virtual collapse in Rajasthan.'
The Minister also hit out at Mr Gandhi for criticing the Government on the issue of COVID-19.
'Rahul Baba note India’s achievements in 'war against #Corona'.India has the least average
cases, active cases and death rate than the US, Europe and Brazil. By making fun of candle lights,
@RahulGandhi ji you have insulted the people of India & brave Corona warriors,' the Minister said.
Continuing his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the India China border standoff, Mr Gandhi on Monday said PM's 'fabricated a fake strongman image' is now India’s 'biggest weakness' in dealing with China.
In the second in the series of his videos in which he talks on current issues facing the country, Mr Gandhi said, 'PM fabricated a fake strongman image to come to power. It was his biggest strength. It is now India’s biggest weakness in dealing with China. '
The Congress leader said India China border standoff was not simply a border issue but it is a 'border issue designed to put pressure on the Prime Minister of India."
