New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday once again attacked the union government over not sacking Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra and said BJP is obstructing the process of law by letting the minister continue on the post.
"By not sacking this minister, BJP is obstructing the process of justice," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.
"The central government neither cares about the farmers nor the BJP workers who are killed," he said.
Four farmers and a journalist were killed after cars from the convoy of Mishra, one of which is registered in the name of the Minister, ran over the farmers who were returning from a protest.
Ashish Mishra was allegedly involved in the incident. He was named in the FIR and eventually arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police.
Four people from the convoy were also killed in the incident, after being beaten up by the angry farmers.
