Modi has red eyes, but why are Congress' eyes wet? : BJP

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) Lashing out at the Congress' statements on Indian troops pre-empting the PLA from trying to change the facts on the ground on the intervening night of August 29 and 30 in East Ladakh, the BJP said on Monday that the government and military have 'red eyes' to show to China but the Congress leaders should explain why their eyes are wet.

Addressing a press conference at party headquarters here, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that it is a case of red eyes vs wet and inconsolable eyes.
When asked about the Congress statement regarding the activities of the Chinese Army, Dr Patra said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army are showing red eyes to the Chinese Army. 'But surprisingly, the eyes of the Congress leaders are soaked and inconsolable,' he added.

He said that, ' There is courage in our government and army that they are stopping the Chinese army from moving forward. Protecting the sovereignty of the country. But why is the Congress crying out?'
When asked about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's tweet, he said that Mr Gandhi is requested to worry about their Group-23 and issue a video on it.
Dr Patra said Mr Gandhi should worry about the future of his party, the country is in safe hands.
'The country is in safe hands, they need not worry about it,' he maintained.
He said BJP and the people of the country salutes the army who protects the country and its territorial integrity.
The BJP leader asked why does Congress cries 'when our army attacks the enemies ?'
Earlier, the Congress slammed the Modi government, saying "BJP's foreign national security policy is like a Chinese product non-reliable and non-dependable". The incumbent government remains hesitant in even admitting the reality at Line of Actual Control, whereas China continues with its misadventures, it added.
