Political overtones: Delhi HC to hear PIL seeking CBI probe in Gargi College outrage case

Political overtones: Delhi HC to hear PIL seeking CBI probe in Gargi College outrage case

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Imparting a new dimension, Delhi High Court fixed for Monday hearing of a Public Interest Litigation seeking a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the alleged molestation of students during a cultural festival at Gargi College.
A division bench of Justices G S Sistani and C Hari Shankar on Friday set February 17 for further hearing of the PIL which alleged that the molestation was a clear criminal conspiracy hatched by the political party to deploy accused persons to provoke the Delhi public to vote in its favour.
According to complainants, a group of men broke into the campus on February 6 during the college festival 'Reverie' and allegedly molested students who claimed that security officials stood watching.
