New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) The e-auction of gifts and mementos received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will end on Thursday.
The online auction of mementos which started on September 17 ie the PM's birthday, include sports gear and equipment gifted to the PM by winners of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Other artefacts include replicas of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Chardham, Rudraksh Convention Centre, models, sculptures, paintings, among others.
As per the PM Mementos website (https://pmmementos.gov.in) till 1400 hours, the javelin which was used by Neeraj Chopra at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to win the Gold medal, has received four bids so far. The base price of the javelin autographed by Chopra was Rs 1,00,00,000 and the highest bid received so far is Rs 1,00,80,000.
