PM, 12 Foreign Ministers to share insights on emerging dynamics at Raisina Dialogue

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the inaugural session of the fifth edition of the Raisina Dialogue here on Tuesday.
Twelve foreign Ministers will share their insights on emerging dynamics globally in the three-day conference, the MEA has said.

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will take the Raisina 2020 stage for a conversation on ‘The India Way: Preparing for a Century of Growth & Contest’ on Wednesday, January 15.
"In a short span of five years, Raisina Dialogue has gained an unparalleled prominence as a global platform where different parties on a global debate share a common stage," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
As many as seven former Heads of State and Government, with high international stature and 'rich experience in governance' are expected to share their views during the inaugural session of this year's Raisina Dialogue on important challenges facing the world related to globalisation, 2030 agenda, role of technology in modern world, climate change and counter-terrorism.
The former Heads of Government who will engage in a discussion are Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, Stephen Harper, former Prime Minister of Canada, Carl Bildt, former Prime Minister of Sweden, Anders Rasmussen, former Prime Minister of Denmark, Tshering Tobgay, former Prime Minister of Bhutan, the MEA statement said.
Former South Korean PM Han Seung-soo will also attend.
Reed Werner, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for South and Southeast Asia, arrived here to take part in the Raisina Dialogue.
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Alice G Wells, will also be arriving for the annual conference.
National Security Advisor of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib will also address the meet.
