Sonia Gandhi condoles death of Somen Mitra

New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday extended her condolences on the passing away of West Bengal PCC President Somendra Nath Mitra.
In her condolence message, Ms Gandhi, describing Somen Mitra as a leader with resolve and determination, said that in his demise, Bengal, as indeed the Congress Party, had lost a pillar of strength.
She underlined that his contributions and services to the people as a Legislator, Parliamentarian and President of the PCC will always be remembered.
