New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on the occasion of his 114th birth anniversary.
In a tweet, Modi said, "The brave Bhagat Singh lives in the heart of every Indian. His courageous sacrifice ignited the spark of patriotism among countless people. I bow to him on his Jayanti and recall his noble ideals."
The freedom fighter was born in 1907 in Banga village of Faisalabad district, previously known as Lyallpur, which is now in Pakistan's Punjab province.
