New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) A high level committee meeting under the chairmanship of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday approved a package of additional Central assistance of Rs 5,751.27 to eight states for the 2018-19 natural calamity.
The state of Bihar, Kerala, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan and West Bengal will be getting funds for floods, landslides, cyclone ‘Bulbul’, drought during 2019 and Karnataka for drought (Rabi) of 2018-19 under National Disaster Relief Fund, an official statement said.
