CJI administers oath to 2 new SC judges

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Thursday administered the oath of office to two new Supreme Court judges, Justices N. Kotiswar Singh and R. Mahadevan.
The two judges were sworn in against vacancies created after the retirement of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice Aniruddha Bose.
Justice Kotiswar Singh is the first judge from Manipur to serve in the Apex Court.
With the appointment of the new entrants, the Apex Court has achieved its full strength of 34 judges.
