New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) A petition has been filed before the Supreme Court to stop Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and police from filing cases against devotees over its "arbitrary" no Chhath at Yamuna order.
The petition has been filed before the Supreme Court by Sanjeev Newar, Swati Goel Sharma through advocate, Shashank Shekhar Jha.
Delhi police treated Diwali revellers as criminals for buying a polybag full of firecrackers. Same must not be repeated for festival of Chhath, the petition filed before the Supreme Court said.
