New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to Delhi, Telangana, Odisha and West Bengal for non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat scheme for free treatment to the poor.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde and also comprising Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian issued notice to theese states after hearing a petition questioning the non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
"We issue notice to Delhi, Telangana, Odisha and West Bengal. We seek their detailed reply on the petition, which had challenged and questioned the non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat scheme for free treatment to the poor," the Apex Court said.
