New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) The Delhi High Court on Friday stayed the broadcast of News Channel Sudarshan TV's show 'Bindas Bol', whose latest promo casting aspersions on the presence of a minority community in civil services.
A single-judge bench of Justice Navin Chawla while hearing the matter through video conferencing issued a stay order against the broadcast of the show.
The petition has been filed by current and former students of Jamia Millia Islamia University seeking the show, whose promo was widely publicised on social media, titled "Big Expose on Conspiracy to infiltrate Muslims in Government Service", to be restrained citing the proposed broadcast may defame, attack and incite hatred against the minority community.
