New Delhi, July 21 (UNI) A total of 21,566 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in India during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,36,69,850 while the death toll rose to 5,25,870 as 45 more succumbed to the disease.
On the other hand, 18,294 people recovered from the disease, taking the tally to 4,38,25,185. The recovery rate stands at 98.46 per cent.
The active caseload stands at 1,48,881, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 87.11 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 200.91 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
