India reports 11,466  Covid-19 cases and 460 deaths in the last 24 hours

New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) India has recorded 11,466 Covid-19 cases and 460 fatalities during the last 24 hours, said the latest update by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday.


The recovery rate touched 98. 25 per cent as 11,961 patients recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,37,87,047.

The Active Caseload is well below the two lakh mark and presently stands at 1,39,683, which is lowest in 264 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.41 per cent of the country's total Positive Cases since 2020 March.

“The daily positivity rate is 0.90 per cent, which is less than 2 per cent for last 37 days, whereas weekly positivity rate is 1.20 per cent which also remains less than 2 per cent for the last 47 days now,” the Ministry reported.

The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. India has so far conducted over 61.85 Crore tests across the country.



With the administration of 52,69,137 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 109.63 crores, the Ministry said.

“More than 118 crore (1,18,24,36,185) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through direct state procurement category,” it said.
