COVID-19: 1,792 fresh cases, 15 deaths in Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 2 (UNI) Haryana on Wednesday recorded 1,792 new cases of COVID-19 while fifteen more fatalities were recorded due to the virus, taking the state's cumulative number of cases to 68,218 and death toll to 721 informed the state health department.
According to the department's bulletin, the virus claimed two lives each in Karnal, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Fatehabad and Yamunanagar districts and one life each in Faridabad, Ambala, Rohtak, Hisar and Sirsa districts today.
The Bulletin stated that out of the new cases 216 were reported from Panchkula district, 184 from Gurugram, 152 from Faridabad, 142 from Panipat, 130 from Karnal, 126 from Kurukshetra, 114 from Hisar, 96 from Ambala, 95 from Yamunanagar, 90 from Rohtak, 89 each from Kaithal and Bhiwani, 61 from Rewari, 43 from Sirsa, 39 from Jhajjar, 36 from Mahendergarh, 27 each from Sonipat and Fatehabad, 23 from Palwal, 11 from Nuh and 2 new cases from Charkhi Dadri district.
