New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Delhi's Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday released the second round 'Sero Survey Report' on Covid-19 and said it shows that 29.1 per cent of people have developed antibodies against the novel coronavirus.
Addressing the mediapersons, Mr Jain said,"The second serological survey which was conducted between 1-7 August shows that 29.1 per cent of people have developed antibodies against Covid-19. A total of 15,000 samples were collected during the survey. That is, antibodies against corona have been found in about 58 lakh people in Delhi."
"These individuals were asymptomatic and may have quietly recovered from Covid-19, given the presence of antibodies in their bodies," he said.
