New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) The national capital Delhi recorded a significant spike of 4,235 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the case tally to 2,18,304, while 29 people lost their lives in the same period.
The fresh demises have taken the death toll to 4,744, government's COVID bulletin said. On the recovery front, 3,403 people were cured/discharged since Saturday.
As per the official data, the active cases now stand at 28,812, while the number of recovered persons stand at 1,84,748. The recovery rate has reached 84.62 per cent, the state health bulletin said.
