New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) Delhi recorded 2,973 fresh COVID-19 cases, highest since two months, and 25 deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, state health bulletin said on Saturday night.
It is now the fourth consecutive day when more than 2,500 fresh COVID-19 cases have been clocked in the National Capital, which managed to trim the spread of the virus and keep numbers low since July onwards.
Till date, the highest single-day spike in Delhi was of 3,947 cases, recorded on June 23.
