New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Ajay Maken here on Wednesday asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to reimpose lockdown as COVID-19 cases and deaths have again started to rise in the National Capital with the onset of winters.
Delhi, on Wednesday, recorded the sharpest spike of 8,593 cases while 85 more people lost their lives.
'.@ArvindKejriwal ji, lock Delhi down immediately!Delhi breaks record-We have 8,593 COVID cases in last 24 hours!Better that we don’t celebrate Diwali, than thousands (or even lakhs) celebrating their last Diwali!Please, it’s an emergency! (sic)," Mr Maken wrote on his twitter handle.
