New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday exhorted people to join the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public movement in the fight against Covid-19 and follow the three mantras given by him.
Taking to twitter he said, “A global pandemic like Covid-19 can be fought only when all the countrymen come together. Let us all unite to fight against Covid-19 by joining this mass movement started by PM Modi and play an important role in making India Covid-19 free by making everyone aware of this pandemic.”
Referring to the three mantras given by the PM Modi, Mr Shah further said, “There are only three mantras to protect ourselves from COVID-19: wearing a mask, practicing two meters of social distancing and washing hands frequently. Follow these three safety mantras of PM Modi to not only keep yourself safe but also to keep your family, friends and colleagues safe from COVID-19.
India on Thursday recorded a fresh spike of 78,524 nCoV cases during the past 24 hours, taking the country's tally past 68 lakh-mark.
Currently, the nation's total case count till date stands at 68,35,656.with 83,011 cured or discharged cases in the same duration which has pushed the total recoveries so far to 58,27,704 at the recovery rate of 85.25 per cent.
