New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has begun a tele-consultation service with specialist doctors in view of the Covid-19 pandemic to help people from various quarters, including senior citizens.
The e-services, started from Tuesday for Central Government Health Services (CGHS) beneficiaries through virtual mode, are available between 0900 hrs and 1200 hrs on all working days. Initially, these services will be available to beneficiaries in Delhi/NCR.
The move was prompted after the MoHFW received requests from various quarters, including senior citizen beneficiaries, to start tele-consultation services with specialist doctors in view of the difficulties faced by senior citizens to access health care facilities due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.
