Total 43,000 AB-HWC centres had combined footfall of 44 lakh in one week alone

New Delhi, Jul 27 (UNI) A total of 43,022 Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs) provided health and wellness services to 44.26 lakh people across different parts of the country, delivering non-Covid essential health services, while meeting the urgent tasks of prevention and management of COVID-19.
In the week starting July 18 to 24, a total of 44.26 lakh people have benefitted from the health and wellness services being provided by the AB-HWCs.
The cumulative total footfall among the HWCs, since their inception on April 14, 2018, has risen to 1923.93 lakh and is a testimony to the foundational work of HWCs in their communities.
