New Delhi, June 15 (UNI) Chief Ministers of the North Eastern states on Wednesday extended their warm wishes to Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Kishan Reddy on his birthday and prayed for his long and healthy life.
Extending his greetings, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the Minister's constant efforts to aid development of the North East are laudable.
"May Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev bless you with good health and long life in the service of the nation," Sarma, who is also the convenor BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) wrote in a tweet.
Taking to twitter, Meghalaya CM and National People's Party (NPP) president Conrad K Sangma said, "The priority accorded by him (Reddy) to develop tourism in the country and to support the growth of the North East is laudable. May he be blessed with happiness and success."
Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu tweeted, "Greetings to Kishan Reddy Ji, Hon Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of the North Eastern Region on his birthday. May you continue to serve the people and keep guiding us for progress of North East. Praying to Lord Buddha for your good health and long life."
Extending his warm wishes, Manipur CM N Biren Singh said Reddy's tireless efforts for the development of the North East are laudable.
"May God bless you with good health and long life in the service of the nation," Singh tweeted.
