New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu has extended his wishes to the people on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi and hoped that the festival brings "peace, harmony and prosperity in our country".
In a message on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, he noted that Lord Ganesha is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.
"We invoke Lord Ganesha and seek his blessings to remove obstacles in our path before we begin anything new."
