Urdu Council to organise 24th All India Urdu literary fest in Malegaon: Sheikh Aqeel Ahmad

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) Acknowledging the request by Anjuman-E-Mehban-E-Urdu and the love for the Urdu language and literature, the National Urdu Council to organize the 24th Urdu Book Fair in Malegaon from December 3 onwards, informed Prof Sheikh Aqeel Ahmad, Director, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Urdu Council said the 10-day literary fair would conclude by December 12.
"The book fair could not be organised last year due to raging COVID-19 pandemic. However, it is happening this year as the situation is improving and most of the activities are returning to normalcy," Ahmad said.
