EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs calls on PM

New Delhi, Apr 21 (UNI) European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today. According to an official statement here, Mr Modi and Ms Mogherini discussed regional and global developments of mutual interest. Both also agreed on the need to strengthen the security cooperation between India and European Union particularly on the issue of counter-terrorism. During interactions, Mr Modi recalled his successful visit to Brussels in March 2016 for the last India-EU Summit, and said that he is looking forward to the next India-EU Summit to be held in India in October 2017.
