New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) The Election Commission on Thursday directed the Madhya Pradesh government to cancel transfers of 12 Joint/Deputy Collectors in poll-bound districts.
'The Commission today directed the State Government to cancel the transfer of 12 Joint/Deputy Collectors which were issued on 8th Oct 2020 in poll-bound districts,' the Election Commission said in a statement here.
It came to the notice of the Commission that these transfers were issued during the period of Model Code of Conduct, it further said.
