New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Spiritual Leader and Founder, Art of Living, has said the purpose of education is to build a strong personality that is equipped to convert new challenges into opportunities and broad mindedness and humility to continue learning forever.
Speaking at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Convocation, he underscored the importance of inner strength, perseverance, patience and creativity for achieving success in life.
The University conferred Honoris Causa Degree of D.Litt. upon Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Mr SK Chaudhary, Chairman and MD, IRCON International Ltd and Honoris Causa Degree of D.Sc. on Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of Meteorology, India Meteorological Department.
