New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) Railways today announced cancellation of 15 trains passing through Haryana and Punjab in view of the law and order situation in both the states that developed after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's conviction and sentencing in two rape cases. A Northern Railway spokesperson said 13 trains, including Jaipur-Chandigarh Express, Jodhpur-Bhatinda Passenger and Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express, were cancelled for today while Allahabad-Jammu Tawi Summer Special and Jammu Tawi-Allahabad Summer Special will remain cancelled on August 30 and 31. The spokesperson said today Jodhpur-Hissar Passenger train will be short-terminated at Churu and partially cancelled between Churu-Hissar. He said tomorrow's Sriganganagar-Tiruchirappalli Humsafar Express will be short-terminated at Bikaner and will originate from Bikaner instead of Sriganganagar. Today, Jammu Tawi-Rourkela Muri Express will be diverted to run via Pathankot-Mukerian-Jallandhar Cantt-Ludhiana instead of Pathankot-Amritsar. Tomorrow, Amritsar-CSTM Mumbai will be diverted to run via Ludhiana-Sahnewal-Rajpura instead of Ludhiana-Dhuri-Rajpura. Pathankot-Delhi Jn Superfast Exp train tomorrow will be diverted to run via Pathankot-Mukerian-Jallandhar Cantt-Ludhiana instead of Pathankot-Amritsar- Ludhiana. Delhi-Pathankot Superfast Exp tomorrow will be diverted to run via Ludhiana- Jallandhar Cantt-Mukerian-Pathankot instead of Ludhiana-Amritsar-Pathankot. UNI NY AD SB 2023
