DAC approves capital acquisition proposals worth Rs 13,700 Cr for armed forces

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Defence Acquisition Council (DAC),headed by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday approved the capital acquisition proposals of various weapons, platforms,equipment,systems for the three armed forces.
Three Acceptance of Necessities (AoNs) for an overall cost of Rs 13,700 crore were accorded and all these AoNs are in the highest priority category of Defence Acquisition ---'Buy Indian-IDDM (Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured).
