Corona-infected journo jumps from AIIMS building, dies

New Delhi, Jul 6 (UNI) A journalist of Hindi daily suffering from COVID-19 died by suicide after jumping from a building of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Monday afternoon.

Tarun Sisodia, 37, a resident of Bhajanpura, was admitted to the COVID-19 ward on the fourth floor of AIIMS Trauma Center on June 24, South West district Deputy Commissioner of Police Devendra Arya said.

At around 1400 hrs, he jumped from the fourth floor. He was immediately rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but declared brought dead, AIIMS official sources said.

Tarun was covering the Delhi government and Municipal Corporation for a long time.
