New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) An Illegal casino has been unearthed and 32 people including three women arrested by Delhi Police from Dwarka’s Rama Park area, police said on Friday.
The police received information about an illegal casino being run near Dwarka Mod. Acting on this input, police conducted a raid at the top floor of building at C Block, Rama Park on Main Najafgarh Road, where they found a big pool table and several people including some women were allegedly gambling. People had cash in their hands and several tokens and were playing cards. After seeing police enter the house they threw their cash on the table and started running, but cops arrested all of them, said Shankar Choudhary, DCP, Dwarka Delhi.
The police said that a revolver with 6 live rounds was also found from a man, identified as Sandeep. During the questioning it was disclosed that the same is a licensed weapon in the name of his relative.
