Delhi Police arrests 10 people including 2 women for attacking cops

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested 10 people including 2 women for allegedly attacking police and damaging government vehicles while cops went to Seemapuri area for investigation of a firing incident on October 1.
According to police, on October 1, Seemapuri police station received information regarding two youths fired at a businessman and the miscreants fled on the third accomplice's bike. When cops reached the spot to nab the suspects who were involved in the firing, the mob attacked them. In this attack, four policemen were injured. They were taken to GTB Hospital for treatment and they were discharged later.
The accused have been identified as Moidul (24), Ruksana (20), Mahmooda (26), Firoz (25), Ajay (19), Iqbal (33), Hasibul (22), Darajul (34), Mohammad Miya (32) and Ruhul Amin (25). The accused have been produced before court and sent to judicial custody.
