Congress condemns Nuh incident, demands Khattar's resignation

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) Congress on Monday strongly condemned the murder of Haryana Police DSP Surendra Singh by illegal mining mafia in Nuh, Haryana and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in this connection.
In a statement here, Congress' General Secretary Communication Jairam Ramesh said the law and order situation in Haryana during the BJP regime has completely collapsed.
"The illegal mining mafia, thriving under government protection, now feel so emboldened that they killed a DSP of Haryana Police by mowing him down under a dumper in Tauru of Nuh district. This shocking incident is one more example of completely shattered law and order situation in Haryana, where criminals have a free run and people of the state are forced to live in constant fear of these criminals," Ramesh said.
