Govt appoints Vitul Kumar as Director General of CRPF

New Delhi, Dec 30 (UNI) The government on Monday assigned the officiating charge of Director General of CRPF to senior IPS officer Vitul Kumar.
According to a memorandum issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the 1993 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre IPS officer, Vitul Kumar, who is currently serving as Special Director General in CRPF will take charge upon superannuation of Anish Dayal Singh on Tuesday.
“The competent authority has approved to assign the officiating charge for the post of Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to Shri Vitul Kumar, IPS (UP:93), Special Director General, Central Reserve Police Force upon superannuation of Shri Anish Dayal Singh, IPS (MA:88) on 31.12.2024 till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” the memorandum said.
