New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the plea of mining baron G Janardhan Reddy to go to Bellary for two days to campaign for his brother, a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, for the May 12 Legislative Assembly elections in Karnataka.
A division bench, headed by Justice AK Sikri, found no merit in G Janardhan Reddy's plea.
Indicted in a illegal mining racket, G Janardhan Reddy, was granted bail by the apex court three years ago.
Bellary-based Reddy brothers are said to be king makers in the state.
