New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) Congress leader and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra here on Thursday handed over the possession of the government bungalow allotted to her in central Delhi to Central Public Works Department.
The bungalow, 35 Lodhi Estate, was allotted to her in 1997 after she became a protectee of Special Protection Group (SPG) on the basis of threat perception.
However, the SPG cover was withdrawn last year in November by the Union Government after taking an overview of the security need. It was downgraded to Z+.
