Assam, Mizoram to constitute Committees to resolve border dispute

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Mizoram counterpart Zoramthanga on Friday agreed to constitute a Committee each for resolving the border dispute between both the states through 'dialogue.'
The development in the long-pending boundary issue came after both the CMs of the North East (NE) states met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah here on Friday evening.
Talking to reporters at the Assam House here shortly after their meeting with Union Home Minister , Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said,"In today's meeting We have discussed the Assam-Mizoram border issue. We have decided to constitute a Committee each for resolving the border dispute."
