New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising the Minimum Support Price for farms produces on Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah said that each moment of Modi Government has been devoted to the welfare of farmers and poor.
Taking to twitter, he said “Today, by increasing the MSP of 6 Rabi crops, the central government, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, has reiterated its same resolve. I express my deep gratitude to @narendramodi and @nstomar”.
He further said that by increasing the MSP for wheat by Rs 50 per quintal, Rs 225 for gram, Rs 78 for barley, Rs 300 for lentil, Rs 225 for mustard and rapeseed and RS 112 for safflower today, the Modi Government has made meaningful effort towards doubling the income of farmers by this historical increase.
