'Corrupt Congress' is now getting scared of the Chowkidar, says PM Modi

New Delhi/Dharamshala, Dec 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah on Thursday launched a two-pronged attack on the Congress party over the issue of corruption and for the latter's alleged double standards on issues concerning rights and justice for Muslim women.
Addressing a rally in Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, Prime Minister mocked at Congress saying "unko chowkidar sey dar lagne laga hae (The Congress party is now getting scared of the Chowkidar, the custodian of the country's treasure)".
In the same breadth he said, "Those who are corrupt and dishonest have lost their sleep, but this custodian is unwilling to sleep".
"No wrong doers and corrupt will be spared and that the country will not derail itself from the path of clean administration," Prime Minister said.
For his part, BJP chief Amit Shah congratulated PM Modi ji and the entire NDA government for successfully passing the Triple Talaq Bill in Lok Sabha.
"This is a historic step ensuring equality and dignity for the Muslim women. Congress and other parties must apologise for decades of injustice towards Muslim women," Mr Shah tweeted.
Prime Minister in his speech at Dharamshala also said that the Congress is a master at misleading farmers.
"Their fake promises and tokenism will not cut ice with the hardworking farmers of India," Mr Modi said.
