Kamal Hasan film Thug Life to release worldwide on June 5, 2025

Mumbai, 7 Nov (UNI) Mani Ratnam directed 'Thug Life', that stars Kamal Hasan, has locked a worldwide theatrical release for June 5, 2025.
Haasan's 234th film 'Thug Life' marks his collaboration with another stalwart of Indian cinema—director Mani Ratnam.

With Ratnam’s direction, A.R. Rahman music and Hasan's acting, an action-packed cinematic experience could be in the offing. The teaser, released with the tagline 'His Story, His Rules' has uunveiled the actor portraying the character of Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar.
This is not the first time the two stalwarts are pairing together, they have earlier collaborated on a gangster epic named 'Nayakan' (1987).
The 'Thug Life' includes the ensemble cast of Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha, Abhirami, and Nasser in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth
