Featuring the sizzling chemistry between Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina, "the track composed by legendary musician A.R. Rahman and with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, is gaining immense popularity among audiences. The song has created a huge social media buzz through fan videos, dance trends, and content creators, making it a cult trend.
Expressing her joy at this success, Wagh said, "I've always been a huge fan of Bollywood music because songs have the incredible ability to become a part of people's memories and special moments. So, seeing the songs I've been associated with receive so much love from the audience is incredibly special to me.
"Taarsa," "Yes Ke Yes," and now "Maskara," all three songs are completely different in their mood and personality, but they have all received equal love from the audience. What makes me happiest about "Maskara" is that people have embraced it with their own creativity. Every day, I see new and unique versions of the song. It's incredibly gratifying to see people connect with it in different ways. As an artist, there's no greater reward than having your work become a part of your lives and stories. I'm loving all the versions people are creating, and I hope they continue to enjoy it."
At the center of this viral success is Wagh, whose turbaned look and effortless charm have become one of the song's most talked-about moments. From fan edits to Reels, audiences are loving Sharvari's mascara avatar, further proof of her growing popularity.
The song's immense popularity has further fueled the excitement surrounding "Main Wapas Aaunga." The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles.
