MP counting: BJP ahead in 20 constituencies, Cong in 7

Bhopal, Nov 10 (UNI) After five hours of counting of by-election votes on Tuesday in 28 Assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh, the ‘ruling lotus’ appears to be blooming in 20 whereas the ‘hand’ is holding onto seven and the ‘blue elephant’ grazing in one.
Erstwhile minister Tulsiram Silawat (Bharatiya Janata Party) is leading over his nearest rival Prem Chand Guddu (Congress) by a margin of approximately 12,000 votes in Sanwer subsequent to seven rounds of counting. In Surkhi, former minister Govind Singh Rajput (BJP) is also ahead of the pack.
