International Leopard Day celebrated at Mizoram University

Aizawl, Aug 5 (UNI) Mizoram University marked International Leopard Day on Monday with a grand event at the university's Department of Education Conference Hall.
The programme, themed "Protect the Elusive," saw the esteemed presence of Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, who emphasised the importance of conserving the state's natural heritage.
Organised by the Department of Zoology and sponsored by the Society for the Preservation of Endangered Carnivores and Their International Ecological Study (S.P.E.C.I.E.S.) along with Riahrun Tours, the event highlighted the crucial need for wildlife conservation.
