CM asks for dedicated efforts to reduce Elephant-Human clash

Ranchi, Jul 21 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has stressed on the need for making dedicated efforts to reduce the clash between Elephants and Humans.
Reviewing the CAMPA Scheme for the year 2020-21, he sought answers from the officials regarding the steps taken to reduce conflict between elephants and humans. He said, since the elephants are causing damage to crops, homes and human lives therefore the quick response teams should do their best to tackle the issue.
The Chief Minister said that the Elephant Corridor has been damaged and even instructed officers to ensure that people impacted due to elephant menace get their compensation on time. Further he directed to implement the schemes properly.
