renewed interest due to its potential: VP
Itanagar, Oct 9 (UNI) Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said that Arunachal Pradesh has a lot of strengths and the whole country was looking at Arunachal with renewed interest due to its potential and achievements of its people.
In his address to the Members of the Legislative Assembly during its ‘special’ session here today, the Vice President said, “Arunachal has the potential to become the fruit basket of India due to its natural resource endowments. It can become a global tourism destination because of its enchanting landscape,” he said, adding that the state can also become a sustainable power house of the country if its 58,000 MegaWatt hydropower potential is utilized.
