Sikkim: Taxis to stay off roads voluntarily in a bid to contain coronavirus

Gangtok,Aug 20 (UNI) Taxi drivers in Gangtok will not hit the roads for the next three days due to rising coronavirus cases.
The decision to suspend operations from Friday to Sunday comes after some cabbies in Ranipool tested positive.
However, the drivers said reduced mobility will make it easier for the health workers to trace contacts of recently infected persons.
