Odisha to set up EV fund to provide incentives on purchase of electric vehicles

Bhubaneswar, Sep 17 (UNI) Odisha government will set up an Electric Vehicle Fund soon to provide various incentives for procurement of electric vehicles of various categories.
State Commerce and Transport department sources said the government is planning to provide incentives for four years for buying electric vehicles.
As per the Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy 2021, the state will provide 15 per cent subsidy — a maximum of Rs 5,000 for two wheelers, Rs10, 000 for three wheelers, and Rs 50,000 for four wheelers on the base price.
